5 Years as Employee #1 @ BACH (Now known as "Batch")

As the first hire, I was instrumental in creating and scaling the BACH app and it's brand. This was a very rewarding role in my career, as we served over 500,000 parties and created a marketplace that annually booked over $10,000,000 in group experiences.

I served in 3 roles as my responsibilities grew throughout the business. I combined my creative background with my eagerness to learn new skills and platforms to achieve the results detailed below.

Branding — Created the entire BACH brand and marketing collateral including brand identity, voice, lifecycle funnels, paid ad creative, App Store listing, marketplace product images and descriptions, and assisted with customer service scripts, product design (app and website), and app store reviews

Social Media — Launched and single-handedly operated Instagram through first 80,000 followers with industry-high engagement rate; launched and directed TikTok through first 20,000 followers

Marketplace — Managed over 1,500 bookable group experiences available in 25 U.S. cities using data, trendsetting, vendor relationships, and lifecycle marketing to drive over $10m in annual top line revenue; 1 out of 5 parties using the BACH app booked their experiences through our marketplace

Marketing — Designed and launched lifecycle funnel top-to-bottom in Iterable including email series and blasts, push notifications, and in-app messages; hired and directed a team of marketers overseeing lifecycle, social media (Instagram & TikTok), and marketplace optimization; planned creative campaigns for sales, lifecycle, customer loyalty, and acquisition

As a Startup Stakeholder — Drove outsized metrics for the business in marketplace conversion rates, email and social media engagement, customer reviews, and full funnel optimizations; worked closely with CEO, COO, CTO, and company leaders to roadmap and execute company goals; worked with executive coach to strengthen core leadership skills

In the early days of BACH, I scouted and directed micro-influencers as brand ambassadors in our top 12 party destinations. I sent them on our most popular experiences with their friends and in return received content assets to optimize our marketplace and to use for social media, lifecycle marketing, and ad creative.
